About Me

Hi!

My name is Christopher Hall, I am a registered EIT with over 25 years of experience in site development, earthmoving, civil engineering, and operating heavy earth moving equipment.  All of my education and operational experience gives me a unique perspective into creating surface model projects for construction, I have insight from an engineering, contracting, and operating mindset.  I have created hundreds of grade control surfaces since 2010 for a variety of different applications such as site development, rural roads, curb and gutters, ponds, parking lots, drill pads, underground utilities and more.

My construction career started as a dozer operator in 1998 until I received my BS in civil engineering in 2010.  When I began managing site development projects I was introduced to GPS grade control and instantly realized the potential of modern technology.  I took it upon myself to learn every bit of the programming, formatting, creating, editing and producing the surface models required for our equipment and projects.  I have been creating surface models and projects ever since then and have gotten quite efficient at it.

I take pride in my work, and have an extreme attention to detail.  I want all of the operators and users of my project models to be impressed by the ease of use, the contrast of different layers, and above all else, to trust that the surface model is precisely what the engineers designed.

I live for the dirt work, I am passionate about how artistic it can become when done properly, sculpting the earth and materials to a beautiful precision to be proud of.  Of course your operators and employees will ultimately carry the responsibility of physically moving and shaping the materials, but I am very proud of my role as the artist.

I always stand  behind the quality of my work, and I am ALWAYS available for support.  I know how expensive your operational costs can be, and I will work hard and diligently to produce the files you need on time, or before you need them.  Sometimes projects can change due to a variety of reasons, or as built items that weren't planned on can become a priority in your schedule.  I will always do my absolute best to accommodate my clients' schedule!
